When Bonnie was about 5 months old she attended Puppy Class at our local vet’s. Amy,
the girl who ran the class told us that our dogs should have to earn their treats. The
treats should be wrapped in the containers (that are safe for dogs to chew
through such as egg boxes) so they will have to work to open them to get to the treats. We put
Bonnie’s treats in a cardboard container (one of her favourites is cat food
box) every night. This has become Bonnie’s ritual. She will also have to sing and
roll over (many times) before getting her parcel.
And this is the trash that we have to clear every night
after her ‘work’. So we blame Amy. It’s her fault really for this mess:)
